The Expo West 2023 NEXTY Award winner for Best New Frozen Product, Konscious Foods' Plant-Based California Roll, is part of a new line that includes plant-based sushi and other globally inspired frozen dishes. 

Konscious Foods is the latest undertaking by chef and food entrepreneur Yves Potvin, a Quebec-native and founder of Gardein who is now behind the market's first frozen vegan sushi, poke bowl and onigiri—products that are not only good for consumers, but also the planet.

With these products, Konscious Foods is meeting its goal of providing consumers with tasty and convenient seafood alternatives that take a solutions-based approach to issues such as overfishing and pollution, which are plaguing the global fishing industry.
